About Us A friendly, family business run by Sally and Robin Wilding-Webb. Winners of an RHS Silver medal at the Malvern Spring Gardening Show 2010 for a Show Garden. Winners of the public vote in the NS&I Growing Gardens Today competition 2009, and Awarded an RHS Bronze medal at the Gardeners' World Live Show 2009. Sally, the Garden Designer and experienced plantsperson of Through The Garden Gate, qualified in garden design in 1994 at Merrist Wood School of Garden Design. Sally has an excellent knowledge of plants, and she has designed, constructed and maintained gardens in Kent, Surrey and Devon. She has well over 25 years experience of gardening. As well as growing and maintaining flowering plants, Sally is also an excellent vegetable gardener, having previously won first prize for her allotment and has been a judge at local horticultural society shows. Robin has City and Guilds in Amenity Horticulture and various tree work/chainsaw qualifications and is currently studying for the RHS Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture. The company has designed, built, planted and maintained many gardens over the last few years and continues to go from strength to strength. Through The Garden Gate does not advocate the use of chemicals and is very keen on promoting wildlife and environmentally friendly concepts wherever possible.
